The Success of British Poker Pro Mark Teltscher

Mark Teltscher is one of those British poker professionals who have been showing exceptional poker talent.

Based in London, England, Mark Teltscher is known as the British poker professional who won first place in the £3,000 No Limit Texas Hold'em Main Event of the World Masters tournament on October 2, 2005. The World Masters tournament was part of the second season of the European Poker Tour (EPT) and PokerStars. In this event, which was held in his hometown, Mark Teltscher was able to win £280,000. Such cash prize was equal to US$524,916 at that time.

Two months later, Mark Teltscher proved that his poker talent could actually match the talent of some of the best poker professionals in the world. At the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic tournament, he won the US$5,000 No Limit Hold'em game and was awarded US$374,965. He was able to beat some of the best poker professionals in the world, including Alan Goehring, Gavin Smith, and Michael Mizrachi, who all has World Poker Tour titles to their names.

On March 11, 2006, Mark Teltscher became one of the participants at the Grand Final Event of EPT. The game was No Limit Hold'em wherein he finished in eleventh place and took home US$43,906.

In July 2006, Mark Teltscher experienced cashing in the money twice at the 37th Annual World Series of Poker. He joined such events as the Pot Limit Hold'em game and the No Limit Hold'em game.

Mark Teltscher was also active in the tournament circuit in 2007. His first money finish for the year transpired on April 11 when he joined an event at the World Poker Tour World Championship. He placed third in the event, earning US$10,125. His second money finish occurred on June 1 when he qualified for the No Limit Hold'em World Championship Mixed Hold'em event organized for the 38th Annual World Series of Poker. He only finished in twenty-ninth place but had the opportunity to take home US$13,778.

In the same year, Mark Teltscher became a runner up at the Barcelona Open. He won US$882,047. And at the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic, he became a third placer which gave him the opportunity to earn US$153,660.

He was cashed in the money in an event of the Spanish Championship tournament held on October 16, 2007.

The latest contribution of Mark Teltscher to the industry could also be considered as one of his major achievements. It occurred on January 12, 2008 when he became a contestant at the Crown Aussie Millions Championship. He did not win first prize but he became the runner up, allowing him to receive US$493,571.
